And the 21 trees for 2020/21 goes to the East of England

Random wheel pointing at East of England

Last year (2019/20) we calculated Lagom’s carbon emissions at 21 tCO2e, which we offset with the planting of 21 trees (in Scotland).

This time round we knew our carbon emissions would be way down as we’ve had zero travel during Covid. Travel was far and away our biggest contributor of carbon when we used the carbon calculator.

But to keep things simple and to save time recalculating our emissions we decided to plant another 21 trees for the year 2020/21.

But where to plant our trees this year?

As is becoming an annual tradition: each member of the Lagom team gets at ticket in the virtual hat for their region of the country.

We span the wheel and East of England won it by a nose, pipping Scotland.

We’ve now arranged / paid for the trees to be planted via carbonfootprint.com so enjoy them East of England!
