And the trees for 2021 goes to the East of England (again!)

I’ve just calculated Lagom’s carbon emissions for the calendar year 2021.

With 2021 being a year of Covid lockdowns and restrictions we made very few journeys to conduct our user research or to see clients and colleagues.

And that’s made a big difference [reduction] to our emissions for the year…

Before Covid our carbon emissions were 21 tCO2e, but for 2021 it significantly dropped to 4 tCO2e.

Travel is clearly the major contributor to our carbon footprint.

But where to plant our trees this year?

As is becoming an annual tradition: each member of the Lagom team gets at ticket in the virtual hat for their region of the country.

We span the wheel and the East of England won it for the second year running – Charlotte and Emma will be happy.

We’ve now arranged / paid for the trees to be planted via carbonfootprint.com so enjoy them East of England!
